The AmeriPlan Executive Summary Report for the period ending 7/31/10 indicated as our Hospital Advocate they are earning savings for your members at over 83% of the medical bills they work on for Ameriplan members. Thought you would be interested in this production.

As many of you know Hospital Advocacy is included in our flagship healthcare membership, Total Health. We are very pleased that, in partnership with the Karis Group, we have been able to save our members so much money on expenses that could easily exhaust a family’s finances.

Roadside Assistance Update

In order to maintain the quality of service for the Roadside Assistance benefit, our Roadside Assistance vendor is now requiring the Vehicle VIN number to be registered and on file. Therefore, the information for your vehicles (Year, Make, Model, VIN#) must be on file at least 5 business days BEFORE utilizing this service.

In order to register your vehicles for this benefit, you will need to log onto www.apsecurenet.com, and click on the area on the left that says CURRENTLY A MEMBER? Once there, you will need to login. If you have not yet registered your account, you will need to do this first by following the instructions there.

Once you are logged in, click on MY ACCOUNT and then ADD/DELETE VEHICLES. Add your vehicle information there and click SUBMIT.

Please add this information as soon as possible so that you can utilize this benefit without any interruption.

Over the last year AmeriPlan has been working very hard to bring our field new and better ways to communicate and stay in touch. We have fully embraced social media, we are now active on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. We have revamped the AmeriPlan VISION magazine, and are proud to announce a new issue is being mailed to all our Independent Business Owners today. We have rolled out a companion website to the VISION magazine at AmeriPlanVISION.com. We also launched the VISIONCast podcast, which is available on iTunes. And of course we have also launched our email newsletter, the eVISION (Sign in to your AmeriPlan back office to register).

We are very proud to launch today the brand new AmeriPlanText service. You can now receive the latest news from AmeriPlan on your mobile phone via text message. AmeriPlan Communication is now available to go. All you have to do is visit www.AmeriPlanText.com and register to receive AmeriPlan messages. You can also get all the text messages via the AmeriPlan Text Twitter Page.
